Spirit Track is the fifteenth installment in the Legend of Zelda series. Developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS, it was released worldwide in December 2009.
The game was first announced by Satoru Iwata during the 2009 Game Developers Conference.
The game brings back the cel-shaded style of graphics, which had previously been used in The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. Spirit Tracks replaces the steamboat which had been used in PH with a cannon-equipped steam train. Link can also control phantoms while posessed by Zelda, and play the Spirit Flute instrument.
